Just got a haircut. And a fringey thing. The ends of my hair are a little square but I think my fringe is O.K. Gee! Haven't had one since Olevels ended. I'm still a little unused to it. Hopefully it grows out some by the time school rolls around.

So I'm getting out of the house tmr and meeting the girls and celebratin' JH's birthday. Coolness. But my money woes are upon me, like the curse on the Lady of Shelott.

You see, I have been more than a little extravagant with buying clothes... and it's not even the middle of the month. And I admit that among these clothes I bought a dress I can't wear to school. It was really pretty though, midnight blue and minimally sparkly. And guess what? Tomorrow I am going to buy a pair of ankle boots. Though I do think I can pair it up with more casual stuff.

The only thing is, would my mother condone this? She has been getting more of a freak each year. I could just hear the jealousy in her voice when she talked about a woman in her further studies class who wears a Tiffany ring and yet had the nerve to ask her for a ride.

Gee, mother. Menopause sucks but if Sharon, Demi and Oprah can deal with it...Hey, so can you.
